Mrs. Ada Fannin Succumbs at 82 To Long Illness FuncniJ services for Mrs. Ada Lillic Ftinnin, 1)2, lifetime resident of Upshur County. 1 held Friday afternoon ill Hill Baptist Church. Mrs.

Fannin died Thursday, jJun. 18 at the home of a son, Floyd Fannin, in Gilmer after a long illness. She was born 27, 1879 and she became a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church at age 12. Her husband, the late Joe Fannin preceded her in death on Oct. 9, Surviving besides Floyd Fan' nin arc four other rsons, Law; rence Fannin, Hiram Fannin i and Everett Fannin, all of mcr and Ollin Fannin of Austin: two daughters, Mrs.

Ruby i Reynolds of Soules Chapel and Mrs. Iva Mae Housworth of Kl iPaso: 19 grandchildren and 17 i great grandchildren. The Rev. Jim Helton and the i Rev. R.

Kennedy. She plans to stay until her daughter gets her affairs straightened out after the death of her husband. Then they all will return here. Bro. Carl Tyson was admitted lo Hancock Hospital last Thursday with a badly infected heel.

He burned it while fighting a grass fire some lime ago. Mrs. Audry Matlock is now the owner of a new brick home recently completed by Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lenhart.
