Mr. Blain was born in Havana, Cuba, but came to the United States at a very early age.

He served with the Army of the United States during World War II in the Pacific area. Mr. Blain is now on the taff of the music department of the Aliens Lane Art Center of Philadelphia. Members of Mrs. Fern's committee are Mrs.
