All friends and relatives are cor dially invited to attend. The family requests no gifts. -I Mrs. Johnston was born Dec. Orem Women Hold Lovely Yule Party The annual Christmas social of the Orem Women's Club was held amid beautiful decorations in the Scera Lounge this week.

'i, A medley of Christmas songs was sung: by. a girls quartet, consisting of Connie Ruth Ann Neilson, Maurine Richins and Mignon who were accompanied by. Mrs. Art Richins. i The remainder of the program was furnished by Mrs.

Clyde Weeks and family who presented Christmas songs and recitations. Mrs. James Norton served as their! accompanist. Holiday refreshments furnished by board members were served from a long table with a punchbowl. Favors were small trees made from triangle-shaped plastic boxes decorated with felt and sequins and filled with homemade candy.

An elaborate centerpiece adorned the table. The centerpiece and lounge decorations were created by Mrs. Clair York, who was a special guest at the social. Twelve guests were present, including Mrs. C.

E. Hyatt, president of the First District of Federated Women's Clubs. Mrs. Dale Johnson and Mrs. George Boyce served as hostesses 27, 1882.

She was married to John A. Johnston, Sept. 11, 1902 In the St. George Temple. He died Nov.

60' ANNIVERSARY The Socialite Club of Orem held the annual Christmas party at the home of Gwen Robbins. Games were played, Christmas carols were sung and a delightful Christmas story was given by L'aDean Edwards. The highlight of the evening was a luncheon consisting of a favorite recipe from each member present. The recipes were written on cards and given to the secretary to be made into a booklet for each member. A gift exchange and business meeting concluded the evening.

Mrs. Leonard Ryan, president, was general chairman of the event and was assisted by all the members. Special guests were Roger Banghart, Vera Nevers, and Reverend and Mrs. Russell Tanner. Mrs.

Jackie Banghart and Mrs. Vola Nevers were in charge of the entertainment. At the close of the evening gifts were exchanged.
