Thomas a talented physician By Rebecca Goodman WWII vet practiced industrial medicine, was on UC faculty friends remarked what a kind gentleman was. Thomas, who practiced industrial medicine downtown for many years, died March 20 of pulmonary disease at Vitas Hospice at Drake Center. The Hyde Park resident was 84. Dr. Thomas practiced family medicine in Blue Ash before 1961. when he switched to industrial medicine.

He served business clients and individuals until he retired around 1998. He was also on the faculty at the UC College of Medi- 5 death notices BAETZ Catherine "Kay" (nee' DeOlde) of Cincinnati. She leaves three greatgrandchildren, Calynn, Bryce, and Trevor Colceri. Kay loved music. She was an accomplished pianist and sang in her church choir in her younger years. She had a flair for interior design and also pursued various handicrafts, including quilting and ceramics, which she generously gifted to family and friends. Kay was an avid reader, with a penchant for British mysteries and historical novels.

She was a real estate agent for Sibcy Realtors and also a teller and bookkeeper for Central Trust Bank. She will be missed by all who knew her. Kay died peacefully at her home on March 28th at the age of 84. Private services will be held at the Norman Chapel, followed by interment at Spring Grove Cemetery.
