Silver Cup Is Prize In Appraisal Contest To stimulate interest in appraisals by local realty board committees throughout the state the fourteenth district of the California Real Estate association has voted to donate a silver cup as a prize for a competitive appraisal contest to be held at the Santa Monica state convention next October, according to H. The firm has been engaged upon hydro-electric and other engineering and construction works in Japan during the past seven years. Thebo, Starr Anderton, has its home office on the Pacific coast and has already established an international reputation. In addition to large undertakings in the Orient, they have recently-completed an assignment in Mexico, Guatemala, Alaska and In the Pacific coast states. At present they are completing the largest automatic hydro-electrio plant In the world, known as the GHnes canyon development for the Northwestern Power and Light company, a subsidiary of the Zellerbach Paper company, near Port Angeles, Wash.
