This past February Chris was diagnosed with latestage pancreatic cancer and the courage, grace and dignity with which she bore that cross was truly inspirational.

Never did she complain or express any negative sentiment whatsoever. Chris agreed to undergo therapy only with the understanding that her experience would advance the cause of medicine and, thereby, be of benefit to others. Such was this wonderful woman.
