After selling the dairy in 1963, she worked at the Milicron and spent many tireless hours volunteering her talents at the Mitchell Center. Lt 'Nti ai'sn in MCCARROLL Florence Kent McCarroll passed away on August 20, 2009, at the age of 94 in St. George, Utah where she moved to be close to her daughters. She lived at the Beehive Assisted Living Home where she met new friends, enjoyed entertainment, field trips and bingo.

She received amazing care and loved the owner. She was born in Peoria, Illinois April 19, 1915 to parents Thomas and Hilda Kent. When she was nine years old, the family moved to Columbus, Ohio. She lived in Clintonville most of her life. While attending North High School, she met and later married George McCarroll.

They had three daughters. After WW II, they divorced. Math had always been her strong interest. After attending business school, she worked for various companies in the accounting field, until she joined the State Of Ohio Auditors Office, where she remained until her retirement in 1980. She volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital and worked at her church, Christ The King Lutheran.

Preceded in death by parent daughter, Shirley McCarroll; brothers, Gordon and John Kent; sister and her family, Thel-ma, Dana, Beverly and Bob; niece, Lisa Kent. Russel served our country in the Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater receiving 3 Bronze Stars. Preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Marie (Boehle) Graeser. Russel is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha Graeser; son, Mark (Pam) Graeser of Oakwood; and daughter, Marsha Higgins of Fairfield; 5 Grandsons; 1 Granddaughter and 2 Great Grandchildren.
