During their adventure Barney visits a magical toy factory, a farm and even a spaceship. Along the way the audience will join the cast in singing old favorite songs like the trademark "I Love You" or the popular "Mr. Knickerbocker." The idea for the show comes from one of the television show's writers who was brainstorming about the ultimate child's fantasy, says spokeswoman Sheree Johnson. "And of course, we end up at a magical toy factory," Johnson adds. During the 90-minute show, preschoolers and their guests learn the toy factory song and may sing and dance in the aisles.

"I love seeing all my friends and their smiling faces," Barney says. "Tell everyone to bring their smiles because they'll be using them a lot. And remember I love you." We're going to have so much fun," says the purple dinosaur, who is in town Saturday and Sunday. Barney, Baby Bop, BJ and their friends are coming to the Taft Theatre for four performances as part of the "Barney live! The Let's Go Tour," making stops in more than 60 cities this year. It is the dinosaur's fourth live show since 1996, when he debuted with "Barney's Big Surprise." In this adventure, BJ and Baby Bop's favorite toys break and Barney takes them on a magical adventure where they meet dancing teddy bears, robots and life-sized musical instruments. "Well even meet a blue jay who likes to play the guitar and sing the blues. There are lots of songs," explains the 6-foot-tall purple Tyran-nosaurus Rex.
