2-Almone Upper Des 0. S. Lund Gets Birthday Honor At LuVerne Lu Verne-'O. S. Lund was given, a party in honor of his 60th birthday at his home Tuesday evening, March 30.

Attending were five of his daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Tjeran Nerem and Mr. and Mrs. John Palmer and son of.

Renwick, Mr. and Marvin Nerem, Vickie and Terry of Corwith, and Mrs. Herman Vaudt and' son' Duane of Whittemore and Delores Lund at home. Mr. Lund received many gifts and cards and each daughter brought him a lovely birthday cake.

Lunch of ice cream, cake and coffee was served. Mrs. Doak Hostess The ladies socicty of the Presbyterian church 'met at the home of Mrs. James Doak Wednesday afternoon with El very good attendance and two guests, Mrs. Anna Sankey and Mrs.
