IN THE TOWN ERNIE WILLIAMS FARM MACHINERY Pictured above is ihe Ernie Williams-Farm Machinery shop, located at 331 Diagonal. The firm was establishedjn Algona ten years ago under the partnership of Ernie Williams and Cecil Taylor. In 1953, the partnership dissolved and Ernie Williams became sole owner. The firm handles John Deere equipment mainly, .and also carries Heider and Stan-Hoist equipment. A' main feature in the service, department is that all four servicemen are factory trained by attending an annual John Deere Service Training School. Bob Cannes is head of ihe .parts department, and Andy Anderson is manager of the firm? both of these men. have had 20 years of continuous service with John Deere. John Deere throughout its history* has offered quality farm equipment and outstanding service for its many friends and customers. J, Benger and his son, Walter. The 320 acre Jarmjs located three miles south and two miles east pf'Syrea City, The Benger family has lived'•'on the above pictured farm for 78 years, Henry Benger, father of A. J.
