Harry and Alice Beebe were scheduled to appear in Hamilton County Juvenile Court to face charges of tending to cause the unruliness of a minor. When they did not attend the court hearing, Judge David Gross-mann issued the warrant. The charges surround the couple's 11-year-old daughter, whom the Beebes regularly did not send to Meredith Hitchens Elementary School in Addyston, part of Three Rivers Local School District. The charges carry a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. Escort services stung BLUE ASH Two men and four women were arrested on prostitution-related charges Saturday night at an industrial building in a "sting" operation.

The suspects are affiliated with two area escort services, Add Spice Entertainment and Rumor Has It, said Blue Ash police Lt. Robert Lilley. The sting was part of an effort by Blue Ash police, the Cincinnati Police Division's vice squad and the Hamilton County prosecutor's office to rein in area escort services, Lilley said. Brian C. Young, 24, of the 9500 block of Colgate Way in Hamilton and Thomas Cecil Dennis, 20, of Bellevue were arraigned in Hamilton County Municipal Court on Monday morning on charges of promoting prostitution, a felony.

Both were released, Young on his promise to return for court proceedings, and Dennis on $2,500 bail. The four dancers arrested and charged with misdemeanor prostitution were Rumor Has It employees Kerry Walker, 19, and Katherine Grevemberg, 18, both of Covington; and Add Spice employees Chastity Dixon, 18, of Erlanger and Patricia Johnson, 18, of Henshaw Avenue in Cincinnati. Brockhoeft may not associate with anyone active in the anti-abortion movement, nor may he write, speak or belong to groups active against abortion. Brockhoeft must participate in a mental health program for two years. He also must find a job; he said he's looking. "I just wish I could tell these people, 'Let me talk to a few Brockhoeft said Monday in his Westwood apartment. "I'm glad I've got Joanne here with me, but I still don't have any contact with the outside world.

It's so hard for me to be completely cut off from my friends." Joanne Brockhoeft shares those burdens. She could compromise Brockhoeft's freedom by becoming active in the anti-abortion movement; or, as supervising probation officer Patrick Crowley put it, such an association "could be a problem." The Brockhoefts became engaged by mail, drawn together by their rejection of abortion, and they met a week after he was released. Shortly before he was released, Brockhoeft said, he offered to abide by any restriction on his First Amendment rights if he could wed. When authorities refused, he challenged the terms of his release. Authorities had no objections after Joanne flew to this country and talked with probation officers.

The two received permission to meet Feb. 24, his 44th birthday. They married March 17, the day after her 23rd birthday, in Mount Airy Forest. Brockhoeft fears his case will set a precedent for restricting other activists' speech. "My question is that, though I was severe and there was only a little moderation in my campaign against you-know-what, who will be the next moderate, who's a little more moderate and a little closer to the middle, to be subjected to totalitarianism?" Dole adds spice, but Sen.

Aronoff is toast of town BY HOWARD WILKINSON The Cincinnati Enquirer When 700 or so Republicans break bread this morning at a downtown hotel, Senate majority leader and presidential contender Bob Dole will be the side dish. Not that they won't be glad to see the Kansas Republican. But the entree on this morning's menu will be Ohio Senate President Stanley Aronoff, the host for the $250-per-plate fund-raising event for his Ohio Republican Senate Campaign Fund. When Aronoff holds a fund-raiser, business executives, lobbyists and those with a stake in what goes on in the Ohio General Assembly flock to the event. Aronoff raised more than $2 million for Republican legislative candidates in 1994.

Aronoff's campaign fund was depleted by last year's Ohio Senate campaign; he is wasting no time getting started for 1996, when 13 Ohio Senate Republicans and three Democrats are up for re-election. The Republicans have a seven-seat majority in the 33-member Senate. "I wanted to get started early, just in case there is nothing left after the Republican presidential candidates come through town," Aronoff said. This morning's breakfast at the Westin Hotel, with Dole delivering the keynote speech, is expected to raise between $150,000 and $200,000 for Aronoff's Republican Senate fund. Two weeks ago, Aronoff and Ohio House Speaker Jo Ann Davidson of Reynoldsburg gave Dole's Ohio campaign a boost when they went to Washington to endorse the Kansas senator.

And Monday, U.S. Rep. Rob Portman, R-Cincinnati, joined Dole's campaign. He has been given the job of lining up endorsements from fellow House members. So far, the list of Republican House members endorsing Dole does not include Portman's neighbor from Hamilton County's 1st District, Steve Chabot.

Shannon Walker Jones, Chabot's press secretary, said Chabot has yet to commit to a GOP presidential contender. About 50 business executives paid $1,000 each to attend a private reception Monday night in Cincinnati with Dole, Gov. George Voinovich and Aronoff. Last year, Aronoff was able to pick up the 9th Ohio Senate District in Hamilton by spending about $300,000 on Janet Howard, who won over Democrat Tyrone Yates for the open seat. Senate Minority Leader Robert Boggs, D-Rock Creek, said the Howard-Yates contest shows "there's a price tag on Senate seats these days.
