Age 82 RASCH front W. 10:00 A.M. Jan. II Niedhard School, he led the athletic teams to numerous championships and was instrumental in instituting six-man football. He also was a swimming and water safety instructor.

Outside of school, Mr. Straub was recreation director of Glendale Athletic Field, a referee and umpire for local amateur baseball, football and basketball teams, director of St. Edmund's Swimming Pool, director of Knot Hole Baseball and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Glendale for 55 years. "He devoted his life to teaching youth through sports," said his daughter, Frances Straub Rosenberry of Newbern, N.C He retired in 1966 as the school athletic director when Glendale High School became part of the Princeton School District. Following his retirement, he worked as a substitute teacher in College Hill and Northern Kentucky.

In addition to Mrs. Rosenberry, Mr. Straub is survived by his wife, Frances Arnett Straub of Sharonville; a daughter, Judith Straub Moerlein of Anchorage, Alaska, and 19 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Cottingham Memorial Chapel in Sharonville.

Mr. Straub's body was donated to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Memorials can be sent to the American Cancer Society. Henry Kenney Henry Fletcher Kenney, a landscape architect who designed 1,000 of the area's most beautiful grounds, died Saturday at Christ Hospital. The Anderson Township resident was 91.

Mr. Kenney began his practice in 1931 and went on to design private gardens, industrial buildings and parks, including the Taft Museum in downtown Cincinnati. His own extensive gardens were featured on the Garden Club of America tours during their local meetings. "He had imagination and vision, and the hard-working ability to see that it was carried out," said his nephew, Charles Kenney Duncan of California. The October, 1988, issue of Queen City Heritage Magazine carried an article on Mr.

Kenney, and the Historical Society featured a display of his works. The Kentucky native received honors such as the Greater Cincinnati Beautiful Committee "Special Citizen" award in 1982 and the American Society of Landscape Architects Ohio Chapter award in 1987. He was a member of St. Timothy Episcopal Church, the Kentucky Colonels, the Harvard Club and the Cincinnati Garden Club. A service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
