Miss Summers is also employed at "Wickes Engineering. Dearchs Reunion A family reunion has been held at the parental Mr and Mrs C. E. Dearchs home. Present were the sons-in-law • and daughters, Mr and Mrs Ed Casey, Sandra, Marcene and Jerry, East Riverdale, Md., Mr and Mrs Herman Moore, Nancy, David and Charles, Manhattan Beach, Calif., Mr and Mrs Ronald Hlad and Randall; Willson, Kan., Mr and Mrs Duanp. Cumpston, Jacqeuline, Susan, •Martin and Douglas, Atlantic, Mr and Mrs Ronald Hutahings, Susan, Michael, Becky and Jim, Corwith, and Mr and Mrs Charles Dearchs. At Family Picnic A family picnic was held Sunday at Fort Dodge. In attendance were Mr : and Mrs Games Ackerman, Humboldt, Mr ^ai Mrs Scott Thompson, Redfield, Mr .and Mrs Russell Hester and Mr and Mrs* Bob Hester, Earlham, Mr and Mrs' Floyd Hutzell, Webstci City, ,and Mr and Mrs.Rpy v Hutzell ariti-the,,.respective families Has Slumber Parly ''Nancy Muckey ententained at a slunrber party Friday evening and had as guests Lana Gerber,' Judy Kearney, Kay Moulton, Judy -Hunger, Patty Reilly, Kendra Seeley, Delthea Shierk, Mary Ann Sigsbee and Sally Steqle. Prior to l)he party the girls attended a movie. Tour Training Schools Ray Zinser of the Drake University is here till August 7 conducting classes in the study of Society and Juvenile • Delinquency. A chartered bus was hired and a group made a tour of inspection Tuesday of the trailing schools at Eldora, - Toledo and Mitchellville. Glads Win Prizes Mr a.nd Mrs John Sohimmel spent the weekend at Spencer with their- son-in-law a-nd daughter. Mr and Mrs Dyrl Jones and attended the glad show. They •had. entries and won Champion and Grand Champion -trophies for two 'of the exhibits. Have Guests Mr and Mrs Rex Taylor had Mr and Mrs! William 'New- of Nevada as gu.esls over the \vcekend. Mrs New is the former Phyllis Sawyer and they -had come to attend the 1939 class reunion at the Country Club.- Entertain At Cpiiee Mrs Roscoe M^wd&ley and Mrs Majie Kunz entertained at a coffee Saturday afternoon fo,r Mrs ''Dutch" Lorenz of Pompano Beach. Fla. Hosts Card Club Mrs G. A. Sharp was hostpsa to her card club members last ,-week Wednesday. This week the ' club met with Mrs 'Mike Wagner.
