BY STEVE HOFFMAN The Cincinnati Enquirer Shirley Evans' life encompassed two parts: his 30-year career as a railroader and his 43 years as a member of veterans organizations. He was born in Kentucky, and he served five years in the Army during World War II, reaching the rank of sergeant and serving in the infantry and with medics in Italy. Fernald pumps proach "radical" because it or drug- and alcohol-abusers and other offenders, water over waste BY SMITA MADAN PAUL The Cincinnati Enquirer It contains radioactive waste mixtures of uranium and thorium that were pumped from production processes, Walker said.
