Another $500,000 Is spent monthly providing programming and service to the ON-TV subscribers, the suit claimed. ON-TV owns a patent license for the decoding and encoding devices. ON-TV HAS a contract with WBTI Channel 64 to provide the subscription television service In the Cincinnati area. The ON-TV signal Is placed on WBTI's signal, and it can be re ON-TV, a paid subscription television service, Wednesday filed a $10 million lawsuit against three local companies, accusing them of unlawfully manufacturing and selling its patented decoder kits to unauthorized viewers. The decoder kits were Installed on television sets and enabled viewers to receive the ON-TV signals without paying a monthly subscription fee to ON-TV, the suit claimed.

The suit was filed In U.S. District Court against Debco Electronics, 3931 Edwards Hyde Park; Queen City Electronics 7404 Hamilton College Hill; and Aetec Electronics New Lebanon, Ohio. THE SUIT claimed that the illegal manufacture and sale of the decoders allowed unauthorized viewers to Intercept the ON-TV signals. ON-TV is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission to provide the paid subscription television service in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area, the suit claimed. The station is asking the court to restrain the companies from the practice and asks that the companies pay damages to the station for illegally using the decoders.

ON-TV's license permits it to contract with with viewers to install a special receiverdecoder on State Approves Permit For Bar In Clifton Area Despite an objection from Cincinnati City Council, a new bar planned for the Jefferson Avenue area of Clifton-University Heights has won conditional state approval. "The evidence submitted was not sufficient to deny this transfer," said Clifford Reich, director of the Ohio Department of Liquor Control, the agency which regulates all state liquor licenses. Meanwhile, an ad-hoc group of area residents has hired an attorney to assist the city in its fight. Ington. T.P. White Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Mount Washington, is handling arrangements. Anna J. Weil 97, a former resident of Corryville, died Tuesday at her North College Hill home.
