Miss Meyer \y^U wed John Rash, son of Mrs Jessie Rash, Hurt. : ~ September. (UDM Engraving) in Honored At Shower Beverly Hovey and Mrs Henry Elbert gave a miscellaneous shower Friday evening for Karen Kuchcnrcuther whose engagement and approaching marriage to Edwin Hammer has been announced. Guests were the honoree's mother, Mrs Harold Kuch- enreuther, Mrs L. E. Hovey, Mrs Don Meyer, Mrs Ronald Gerber, Mrs' Charles Harmon, Mrs Dick Frideres, Mrs Robert Ernst, Shirley Sorensen and Carol Studer. Games and contests furnished the amusement and each guest gave Miss Kuchenreuther a favorite recipe. Refreshments were served at the close of the evening. Lows Fele Highs •Following the keeping of scores in a card club and a certain period of time having transpired, the low score winners entertained the high score winners at a llfncheon last week Thursday at Mrs Don Nelson's. Other hostesses were Mrs Roy Bjustrom. Mrs Charles LaBarre and'Mrs Elsie Reed. Guests were Mrs Anton Didriksen, Mrs W. J. duller, Mrs Albert Granzow and Mrs Charles Patterson. Party For Mrs Givens A group of former neighbors drove to Titonka June 14 to observe.' the birthday of Mrs Morris Givens. Those in attendance were ' Mrs Oliver .
