Thursday, at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill Naperville. Bom Oct 20, 1906, in Chicago, she died Tuesday, Jan.

18,2000, at St Patrick's Residence in Naperville. Interment will be in Acacia Park Cemetery, Chicago. A longtime resident of Chicagois Northwest side, Mrs. Niemann was a 1924 graduate of Carl Schurz High School. She had lived at the Devonshire of Lisle from 1991 to 1998, and was a Naperville resident since 1998.

Mrs. Niemann was a very active member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Chicago and, later, Our Lordfs Lutheran Church in Chicago. She was an avid seamstress, reader, cook and baker. Surviving are her daughters, Doris Centner of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Diana Walker of. Aurora; grandchildren, Sandra (Mark) Meyer, Steven Centner, Jeffrey (Norma) Centner, Robert Centner Jennifer (Bill) Leckie, Debra Walker Ewing, David (Lisa) Walker and Donna (Mark) Sharp; and great- grandchildren, Stephanie, Melissa and Matthew Meyer, Amanda, Brandon and Rachel Walker, and Paige Sharp.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Niemann; sister, Florence Slocum; and son-in-law, Robert R. Centner Sr. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. After moving to Bartlett, she worked at the Bartlett Public Library for 16 years, starting as a volunteer and becoming circulation supervisor her illness no longer allowed her to workv She was a member of the Bartlett Historical Society, past president of the Friends of the Bartlett Library, a re-enactor in the Northwest Territory Alliance and a vehicle volunteer at the 1st Division Museum at Cantigny. IjgliHaas, 66, will be private. He was born on Nov. 8, 1933, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of William and Esther Haas. He died on Monday, Jan. 17, 2000 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva.

Burial will be private. Mr. Haas served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed by St Charles Kitchens as operations manager. Thursday, at Elgin Bible Church. Born in 1916, he passed away Saturday, Jan. 15,2000. Mr. Olsen had worked for 44 years at Continental Can Corporation.

A lifelong boating enthusiast, he had a houseboat at Starved Rock Marina along the Illinois River. Surviving are his wife Olsen; daughter, Cheryl; son, Arnold Olsen six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olsen; and a grandson, Amie Olsen.

Friday, at Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Elgin. The Rev. Herman Christiansen will officiate. Born Feb. 15,1918, in Chicago, to Cart and Laura (nee Eaton) Rauschenberger, he passed away Sunday, Jan.

16,2000, at Vencor Hospital, Sycamore. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mr. Rauschenberger was a graduate of the University of Illinois and a veteran of Wortd War II, including three years overseas. He served as an Elgin city councilman from 1967 to 1971, and as the mayor of Elgin from 1971 to 1975.

He also served as a commissioner for the Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission, a member of the DuKane Valley Council, president of the Exchange Club of Elgin, and on the State Board of Control as district governor of Division a member of the board of directors for Division district treasurer, district vice president from 19701971, and as the immediate past district president In addition he was a precinct committeeman and honored by the 18th Annual Elgin Township Republican meeting. Bill and his brother, John, were partners in the Rauschenberger Furniture Company in Elgin for almost 40 years. He was a member of the Elgin VFW and the Elgin American Legion. He was also an Eagle Scout and active with the Boy Scouts. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Rauschenberger (nee Rohlfing), whom he married in 1948; daughter, Mary (Richard) King of Wisconsin; and sisters-in-law, Shirley and Marion Rauschenberger.

Olive A. White of Aurora A celebration of the life of Olive A. White, 91, formerly of Batavia, will be held at 2 pjn. on Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Batavia. The Rev.

Michael S. Stoner will officiate. She was bom on March 1,1908 in Mifflan County, the daughter of John and Lyda Mowery. She died on Monday, Jan. 17,2000 at McAuley Manor in Aurora.

Private interment will be in West Batavia Cemetery. She was united in marriage to Harold G. White on Dec. 12. 1931 in Setinsgroye, Pa.

They lived their early years of marriage in New York, prior to moving to Batavia in 1947 where Mr. White managed the Batavia Dairy. Olive was a religious and devoted Christian. She attended the Batavia United Methodist Church, where she was a meniber of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed baking, was as avid Chicago White Sox fax and devoted her life to her church, husband and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Marjorie (John) Grigalis of Yorkyille, and Arlene (Marvin) Peters of Batavia: grandchildren, Brenda (Lee) Quarzanski of Chicago, Barry (Cindy) Lee of Kankakee, Babette (Dale) Warfel of Geneva, and Brian (TerrD Peters, Sr. of Aurora; and great-grandchildren, Meghan and Victoria Lee, Eric and Kevin Warfel, Brian Peters, and Sabryna Peters. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold G. White in 1339; one sister; and four brothers. Visitation wfll be held from 1 to 2 pjn.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for the former National Tea Food Store on Root St in Aurop for 10 years, then she worked for the former Western Electric in Montgomery for 13 years. She had resided in Mesa for the last 22 years. She will be remembered for her devotion and love for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Norma Wullbrandt of Mesa and Patricia Smilh of Gilbert, Ariz; sons, Robert Mason of Pueblo, Colo, and Dale Mason of Peoria, 111; sisters, Lucille Gasper of Danville, Di and Mabel Melmuka of Chicago; brother, James Smith of St Charles; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Parker was employed as an administrative secretary for Villa Park School District in the Albright School system from 1950 to 1965. From 1965 until their retirement in 1980, she and her husband, Ottis, owned and operated the DuPage Carpet and Tile Company. Surviving are her daughters, Diane Koziol of Germantown, Wis, and Charlotte (Dan) Bogda of Batavia; son, Kenneth (Judy) Parker of Hamilton, Mont; sister, Phyllis Hill of Kent, WasL; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ottis M. Parker, whom she married Nov. 20,1943, in Chicago; and her daughter, Nancy Parker. Stettner of Elgin Funeral services for Lucille M. Stettner, 87, win be private, at Laird Funeral Home in Elgin. Born Feb. 10,1912, in Elgin, to Bert and Minnie (nee Krambeer) Waimmght, she passed away Monday, Jaa 17,2000, at Sherman Hospital, Elgin. Mrs.

Stettner was a lifelong resident of Elgin and a graduate of Elgin High School. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a secretary for many years at a local insurance company and attorney, and was past president of the Elgin Insurance Women's Association. Surviving are her sons, Roger (Donna) Stettner of Elgin. Kenneth (Betsy) Stettner of Denver, Colo, and Gary (Leslie) Stettner of Hilton Head, S.C; grandchildren, Craig. Ronald, Barbara, Richard, Robert, Andrew and Aaron Stettner; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Matthew and Alexandra; and brother, Richard (Gen) Wainwright of Racine, Wis, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Stettner, in 1988; and sister, Helen Pedersen.

Peter and Paul Church, Virgil with Rev. Fr. Les Suberi Echevia, officiating. Bom June 1,1921, hi Virgil, the son of John and Gertrude (Myers) Yagen, he passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 17,2000, at Delnor Community Hospital, Geneva, Mowing a sudden heart attack at home.

He grew up in the Park communities where he attended Maple Park School and as a young man apprenticed into the cement finishing trade. A veteran of World War he served his country in the 20th U.S. Army Air Corps. Returning home, he continued in cement finishing for more than 44 years, retiring in 1983. Married on Sept 22,5956, to Evelyn Turk, they made their home in Maple Park until 1961, when they moved to Virgil and came to live in the famDy homestead on 5-C Trail in 1976.

'Bud' enjoyed cattle farming, a work for which he had a gift and a life that fit comfortably with his live of nature and the great outdoors. "SuHy" enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially on occasional trips to Ely, Minn. Baseball was his favorite pastime and watching baseball filled many great hours with family and friends. He was a lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Church in Virgil and the Maple Park American Legion Post survivors include his wife, Evelyn of Virgfl; brother, Matthew "Jeff Yagen of Virgfl; sisters, Elizabeth Powers of Maple Park.

Katherine Beck of Geneva, and Mary Ann (Joseph) Schramer of Minnesota: brother-in-law, Joseph (Delores) Turk of Sycamore; sisters-in- law, Delores Turk of DeKaib and Guyla Yagen of Virgil; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two infant sons; brother, William "Slim" Yagen; and special nephew, Thorn Berkes. Visitation wfll be from 4 to 8 pjatoday, at the church with a liturgical wake service at 7:30 pjn. Visitation will continue Thursday, from 9:30 until the time of the Mass.
