Seneca Stars Meet The Seneca Stars met May 2f at the home, of Carol Hanisch. The group" made plans for a Mothers Tea to be held in the near future and also made plans for Rally Day. The older girls planned to meet on June 1 to plan their campaigning for their county office Hanisoh. candidate, Carol Alice Petersen gave a demonstration on Proper Ways to Hang CloUies, Lois WSlberg talked on Care and Arrangement of Flowers, and Carol Hanisch talked on "Re-doing ^out''"Tlo<>m" < Mary England reported the club news. Mr and Mrs.Russell Kauffrnan drove to Radcliff last Sunday where they visited at the homo of their daughter and family, the Larry Swerisons. The Swcnsons presented them with a grandson on May 20^ It weighed 7 pounds and will be named Terry David. This is the first grandson on either side* of the family. Mrs Roger Osborn accompanied the Kauffmans and remained there the past week. Mr and* Mrs Glenn Kfueger of Fairmont became the parents of a baby boy Sunday morning at a Fairmont hospital. The Johannesens called on them Sunday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Merle Hall of Ayrshire were recent guests at bho C. O. Bailey home. Little Dennis Wilberg, son of the Donald Wilbergs of Fairmont, Minn, are spending several days this week with his grandparents, the Martin Wilbergs. The Blakjer vacation Bible School is being held this week nt the Seneca School. Teachers include Mrs Odey Cherland, Lois Wilberg, Marilyn Johannesen and Marlene Jensen. Mr and Mrs W. H. Bailey of Cedar Rapids and Dr. and Mrs A. Whittlow of Armstrong were Sunday callers at the C. "O. Bailey home. < Mrs Ralph Campbell received word last Friday evening of the death of her sister, Mrs Augusta Muckey, 70, of Algona. Mr and Mrs C. O. Bailey were guests at a birthday party Sat- urdEiy evening at the 0. R. Patterson home. The party was held in honor of the Patterson's grandson, Billy Gilchrist of St. Joseph, Mo., who had a, birthday that day. . Mrs Olaf Oftcdahl entertained a group of neighbors at her home Thursday morning at. a coffee Sunday afternoon callers at the Bertha Olsen home included Mr and Mrs Einer Beck and Mrs Edith Anderson of Estherville. Mrs Floyd Salisburg entertained a group of friends at her home last Tuesday afternoon. Rose Ann Thompson is enjoying a short vacation at the homo of her mother, Mrs Henrietta Thompson. She will resume 'her studies at Mankato State College during the summer session.
