6-Algona (la.) Upper Des Moines Swea City Man Wed Recently In Minnesota Swea City The First Lutheran church at Grove Citv. Minn. was the setting Apmi18 of the marriage of Marilyn Falk, daughter of Mr and Mrs Otto Falk of Grove City, and Laurel Peterson, son of Mr and Mrs Rudolph Peterson of Swea City. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of French chantilly lace designed with a fitted bodice and accented by a high scoop flower neckline. The long sleeves came to points over the wrisis.

The full skirt had a tierred back and short. chaped train. The finger tip veil fell from a queen's crown of pearls and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies centered by red garnet roses. The bride's only jewelry was A single cultured pearl on a chain, a gift of the bridegroom.

Matron-of-honor was the bride's sister, Schultz. bridesmaids were Joyce Schulte' Betty Ann Swanson. Debbie Nyman of Bancroft was flower girl and Gayland. Larson of Grove City was ring bearer. Allen Peterson served his brother as best man and groomsmen were Gary Babel Kevin Thorson.

The ushers were Rugsel Kronbeck and Kevin Thorson. A reception was held in the church parlors. The couple are now at home on a farm northwest of Swea City after a wedding trip. Mrs Peterson is a 1953 graduate of Grove City high school and Mr. Peterson a 1953 graduate of Swea City high school, attended Iowa State College at Ames and served two years in the a army and is presently farming with his father.
