Richard McGuiro -•was nominated for short course at Ames. Kenneth Bormann and Jim Erpelding attend camp at Clear Lake June 3-5. Club tour will be June 24 starting at 2:30 and meeting at Howard Kohlhaas. George lllg -gave a demonstration and Howard Kohlhaas gave a talk. Lunch was served by Mrs Raymond Kohlhaas. —Mr and Mrs Marvin Kramer entertained in their home Sunday in observance 6f Mothers Day and also the first Communion of their son Gordon. Guests were Mr and Mrs Adani Kramer, Mr and Mrs A. J. Eischeid and Merlin of Algona, Mr and Mrs Herbert Knecht and family of Ventura. Afternoon visitors were Mr and Mrs Clarence CMarso and family of West Bend. Diane Marie Friders, infanfc daughter of Mr and Mrs Martin Friders, born April 28, \yas baptized Ascension Day with Mrs Andrew Kramer and Francis Erpelding as sponsors. A Holy Hour, being planned as a weekly event in St. Joseph's church will be held this Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Masses on Saturday in St. Joseph's church will be held at 7:30 until otherwise announced. May crowning will be held in St. Joseph's church May 17. Nancy Willfong is assisting avith the household duties in the Willie Thilges home. Mary Alma O'Brien. Doris Ann Kohlhaas and Carol Erpelding accompanied -the 4-H group from Kossuth ' county Saturday to Ames. Wehvspann visited at the Otto Wichtenduhl and John Guitzenaucr homes at Fenton Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Henry Olson visited ner brother Dale Rested at the hospital at Lake City Sunday. Robert E.
