Bill; a life-long resident, was parts manager for the Kossuth Couhty Implement Co,, ( i" Bill was united in .marriage to , Pauline Lewis Jan. 3, 1931. There are two children, Max Edgar in .th6 NaVy, and a daughter. Jo- Ahn, Mrs Fred'-Iverson, Little Ebck, Ark. T,he wife 'and chil- . dren, survive. 1 ' „ ". Others survivors are a brother. ' Frank, Lone Rock, and two sisters,. Mrs Glenn Burt, Swea City. and Mrs 'Jim Ackerman, Garner, ( 4nd five grandchildren. ' •V. He Was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the American Legion here. He served in France in 1918. Honored With Showers . A shower was held in Good Hope last Tuesday afternoon honoring Ida Mae Hansen of Algona and Dale Baxter of Lone Rock. A short program was given. Hostesses , were 'Mrs Rolland -Baxter, Mrs Befna'rd Miller, Mrs Joe Culbertson, Mrs Clarence Kreutner, Mrs Louis Seegebarth, Mrs Gerald Radig and Mrs William Buss. ' A shower and dinner were held .in honor of " Mr and Mrs Dale Baxter, in the home of Mr and Mrs Carl Hansen at Algona. Relatives present were ''Mr and Mrs .Leslie Baxter and.
