Christmas greetings to each other, it was staled today by local members of the organization. Many well known Oakland business and professional men once belonged to the club, which was organized In 1833. The revival of old acquaintance-chips was prompted by a recent reunion held at the Iroquois cafe. Many of the guests had not seen each other for thirty-three years. Some time ago James M.

Shanly of Oakland sent out letters In an effort to locate as many members of the old Acme club as possible. After four months and a half of correspondence he got In touch with 180 members. He sent out Invitations and 122 members of the club sat at the banquet table on the night of the re- union Only Khah'ly had the list of names of those who would attend the gathering, and none save him supposed that there would be more than a dozen persons present Among the old time, athletes who answered the call for a reunion were members vt the undefeated bicycle of 1 3 which won the first relay race from Han Francisco through Sun around the peninsula. The entire membership of the team was Willis Sharne. enntaln: tJeoree Har Harry Maxwell, Flank Simpson.
