Upper Des Molnes-3 Thursday, March 26, 1959 WesleyansAt Funeral Rites For Relatives Wesley Relatives from here who attended the funeral of Edwin Johnson Saturday at II a.m. at the Methodist church in St. James, Minn, included the Frank Johnsons, Halvor Floms, Ivan Johnsons, Cliff Carlsons, Howard Funnemarks, Tony Pearsons, Stanley Simpsons, Mrs Linda Bcntele, Lois and Darlene Bentele, Mrs Selma Carlson and Mrs Edna Wubben and Paul McNeils of Algona. Friends who attended included J. p.

Skow, Karl Kiilsholm, Joe Goetz, Lee Carl Johnson, Jens Anderson, the Ray and Theron Hansens. The deceased, a son of the late Nels Johnsons, former Wesleyans, died at his winter home in Alamo, Texas. He is survived by his widow, two sons, a daughter, six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Mr and Mrs R. of Mr and Mrs Glenn Smith in the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon. They joined other relatives and friends at a housewarming for the Glenn who moved lately to his father's property in Algona. Marilyn Hughes, a student at Good Council Academy, Mankato, Minn, came Friday, Mar. 20, to spend a week's Easter vacation at her parental, John Hughes home. Brian Hrubes, son of Mr and Mrs Will Hrubes, was 8 years old Sunday and was honored at a party that afternoon by a group of 10 boys.

Supper guests in the Hrubes home in Brian's honor were his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Ed Hrubes and Mr and Mrs R. C. Bauer, also Mr and Mrs George Wellik and family of Britt. Mr and Mrs W. R.

Smith went to St. James, Minn. Saturday, where.they met three grandchildren, Karen, Jerry and Rickie Wallace of Belgrade, Minn. They will spend their week's Easter vacation at Smith's. The Smiths will take them home March 28 and visit several days in the Wallace home.

A baby boy, David Joe, was born March 18 to Mr and Mrs Bill Bauer. Their other child, Michael, was at the home of his grandparents, Mr and Mrs Stanley Nedved at Garner during his hospitalization at Britt. Mr and Mrs Gregory Bauer of Hankinson, N. Dak. spent Mar.

17-18 in the R. CT'Bauer home. Mr and Mrs Frank Johnson and Mr and Mrs Halvor Flom spent Saturday night and Sunday as guests of Mr and Mrs Wallace Donovan at Spirit Lake. They also visited the Kenneth Donovans there. Janice Vitzthum and Freda Hall of Des Moines spent the weekend at the George Vitzthum home Mr and Mrs Tom Vitzthum and family of Laurens were Sunday guests in the parental George Vitzthum home.

Mr and Mrs Frank Richter entertained their 500 club Sunday evening. Mrs Joe Lappe and Mrs Duane SUider won high and low score prizes for women, Larry Grandgenett and Den Haverly Mr 1 and Mrs Orville Thill of Algona were Sunday guests in the Bernard Kunkel home. Carl Froehlich Jr. began work Monday as a truck driver for Bi 1 Loebig. Cletus West began work Monday at the Carl Arnold sale barn, replacing Henry Seller, son of Mr and Mrs Jule Seller of St.
