Roosevelt today ordered 10,000 government workers to move out of Washington to make room for defense employees. The President's order was made public by Budget Director Harold D. Smith, who said those to move be drawn from the approximately 11,000 employees of 12 Federal agencies. The employees will be moved to St. Louis, New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Smith said "further studies are being made "to determine what other employes can be moved out of Washington. This is-just the first batch." Tile new transfers and the approximate number of employees involved in each case follow: St. Electrification Administration, 1,100, and Farm Security Administration, 900. He puts in his hand to stop the honest business of Randolph and his help, but fate takes a hand and the outlaws are finally brought to justice. How this is done, and ho-w the honest outfit is almost wiped out before it is accomplished, forms the nucleus of one of the most exciting western films to play in Hagerstown for many a day. The latest chapter of "The Iron Claw" and other selected short subjects complete the program. But remember this, if you like thrills, comedy, and excitement-plus, then "Arizona Cyclone" will please you beyond measure. Others in the cast are Herbert Rawlinson, a Adams, and Dick Curtis.

NEW BARRY FILM HIT THRILLS FIRST-NIGHT FANS Action is the order of the day at the Colonial Theatre, where "Kansas newest of Republic's Don Barry westerns, opened for a two day run yesterday. The picture is a veritable cyclone of fast action, tin-ills and, in fact, everything that goes to make up a successful western. Don Barry rode triumphantly across the sagebrush firmament when he won the coveted role of "Red Ryder" in the Republic serial of the same name. Old-timers who had seen many other promising personalities flash and then fizzle, viewed his future skeptically. But Barry was able to hold his own, and is now established as one of the front rank western stars of the screen.

In "Kansas Cyclone" he portrays the youthful United States marshal who has been sent by Wells-Fargo to capture the bandit gang who have preyed on their cargoes. There is a girl in the time it is blonde and beauteous Lynn Merrick, who recently won recognition when she was selected one of the 1941 baby stars considered most likely to succeed.
