The police officers of the city have been ordered to impound any dog found running at in the city during such period and to keep it for five days, within which time the owner may identify snd claim it; any such dog not so claimed in sudb time will be destroyed.

The purpose this procedure is to eliminate dogs which are dangerous because of rabies infection or which, because not properly watched and cared for, might become rabid or spread infection to pets whore owners do properly care for them. It is hoped that this method will be effective and make it unnecessary to impote the much more severe restrictions provided by law or the 60 day quarantine adopted in some communities. iind Jlunalti JUiy aiici uuci Sir. What happens beneath that brawny Buick bonnet happens in no other car in the world.
