We have worked and studied for eight years, which seemed a long time to most of us, but finally we have reached a fixed goal in our young lives, namely the completion of our elementary education. "Our parents must feel gratified that we have finished our courses here; they know that we have received a thorough Christian training, and at the same time they know that we have been well taught in all the ordinary school branches, They know we have been taught to be true, loyal, faithful, God-fear 'ing boya and girls. Our teachers and pastor too, rejoice with us tonight, for the work that they began in a small way eight years ago has now come to a successful close. "Once more, welcome, to all welcome." "We have had much to be thank ful for. The Dear Lord has watched over us and protected us to this day. He has so led us that we have been more fortunate than many other children in receiving a thorough training and education in the essentials of our true religion. He has provided us with patient and faithful teachers, and a school that has met all the requirements. He has given us parents who have not alone watched over our body welfare, but also over our spiritual as well.

"For this we are truly thankful and tonight on behalf of the class of 1937, I voice, the gratitude we feel to all those who have aided and assisted us up to this time. We thank you all and wish you God's blessing. We have been so glad to receive our diplomas, that possibly some of us have temporarily forgot ten that our graduation exercises also mean that we must leave our teachers and the scenes which have been dear to us all. "We shall separate as a class, and our'farewell to the audience and to our friends, means also a farewell to one another. Farewell may be said to you, dear teachers; to you, dear classmates; and to you, dear Precious Blood school, we are about to go out into the world, but we will not be alone; for God is with us, and if we trust and believe in him, and strive ever onward, we shall meet life's battles one by one, and one by one we shall conquer them."
