Meat Pto ... look what 1^ Ib. stewing beef can do, cooked, seasoned, and topped with Bisquick Meat Pie Topping (directions on Bisquick pkg.). Or use leftover meat. : Hamburger Onion Pie. Extra-delicious, way to feed six, using just 1 Ib. hamburger! Mix H cup cream and 1 cup Bisquick. Roll to fit 9' pie pan. Saut£ hamburger with 2 sliced onions, season to taste; .spread in pie pan. Mix 2 eggs, beaten with 1 cup cottage cheese, and pour mixture over meat; sprinkle top with paprika. Bake 30 min. at 375°. Sausage Sandwich, tomato sauce. Season 1 Ib. bulk pork sausage (or hamburger) with salt, pepper, chopped onion. Shape into 12 patties, brown in hot fat. Mix % cup cream, 2 cups Bisquick; roll out. Cut into 3* rounds and place patty between two rounds. Press with fork, prick tops. Bake 15 min, at 400° 6 servings with tomato sauce. Meat Turnovers. Just one 12-oz. can of corned beef becomes 8 satisfying meat portions in these light, biscuit-y turnovers. .Naturally, leftover corned beef is good, too. Mix % cup cream and 2 cups Bisquick; knead gently, roll into eight 5* squares. Fill .with meat, fold over, seal. Bake 15 min. at 400". Salmon Swirl* (not shown) ... 1 can of salmon serves 8! Or use leftover fish. Make Biscuit dough (see Bisquick pkg.), roll out as for jelly roll. Spread with filling: 1-lb. can salmon, 1 cup diced celery, H cup mayonnaise, seasoned with onion, lemon juice, and salt. Roll up, cut into 8 slices, Bake 15 to 20 min, at 450°. Serve with mushroom sauce.
