There is one way that you can avoid the raise, pay up back subscription and in advance. Most of our subscribers do this and postal authorities advise this plan. Print paper insists on keeping on its high perch. We have just received a bill for print paper and job stock for November and the first of December of over $400 and our supply of print paper is so small that we have an order in for another supply. We just must get money enough out of the business to meet our obligations.

We are sending out statements to those in arrears this week, and in order to give all a chance to pay up and take advantage of the dollar and a half rate we will accept subscriptions at $1.50 until January 1, 1921. As timber for making paper is being rapidly diminished, we see no reason for a substantial decrease in print paper, but if it gets cheap again, we will lower the rate. Doubtless some mistakes are made in statements sent. If there are please let us know about them and we will correct them. W.
