Griffith was held throughout the community was fully attested by the many persons who attonded the funeral which took place from the family residence at 177 East Broad street yesterday afternoon. Deceased was born in Selingsgrove, but resided in this city for the past forty-five years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, Nanticoke Lodge No. 541 F. A. M.

P. O. S. of A. of Nanticoke: Caldwell Consistory of Bloomsburg and Carpenters' local, No.

414, of Nanticoke. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mabel Minemeyer and Mrs. Richard Williams of Nanticoke; Mrs. Florence Hartman of Philadelphia, and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Richard Williams, 336 East Church street, on Services Wednesday will be conducted at the afternoon at 2 o'clock, home by James Lawson, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, Interment will be in Hanover Green cemetery.
