After the death of his wife in 1951, he made his home in Cedar Rapids where he was. employed as a bookkeeper until his death. Surviving are two sons, Keith of San Marcos, Dwight R. of Vinton and one brother, Ray of LuVerne; also five grandchildren. Mr Stone was a member of the Methodist church at Mason City.
