One Salem, Oregon couple, however, recently let their appreciation for such coupons' escape the bounds of legality. Theatre manager Dick Phillips assures us that we need not fret, however, and reports that another thriller will be on his marquee about Valentine's Day. Fad type advertising comes and goes. The UDM, however, has been serving Algona businesses for the past 96 years. UDM adver* Users have long realized the value of placing their sales messages on the same pages with up-to-the-minute local news from Algona arid all surrounding communities and with many features of nigh readership interest such as: the editorial page, Odds & Ends, Woman's World, Tidbits from Evelyn, Congressman Goad's 'Comments, Washington Highlights, Behind the Movie Sets, .Around Algona, The Fenton Reporter, 20 Years Ago the farm auction calendar, and the sports and society pages. All of these regular features lend impact and prestige to the advertising columns- of the K UDM. * •*•••"., ' .
