He reports that nearly 80% of the resident breeding cattle own- .ers signed, .which is more than the 75% required for the petition ,tb carry. , 'The petitions were circulated by nearly 300 volunteer workers in all townships in the county. The 'workers • all. reP" ported very : favorable reactions from the farmers they contacted. • The petitions have been sent to the state and federal veter- 'inarians at Des Moines and within a few weeks they should be accepted.
