January 15, 1959 January IS, 1959 WESLEY NEWS Evangelical Free and Upper Flat churches held a union Watch Night service in the latter jChurch, Dec. 31. The youth group had charge of an interesting devotional program. £ Mrs Elof Pearson spent Dec. S? - Jan. 2 in Mt. Vernon with her parents, Mr and Mrs E. F. Stansberry. She also visited a sister, Mrs Lee Walthan and family at Davenport, and a brother, Doyle Stansberry and sister, Mrs Helen McFatridge and their families at Cedar Rapids. Mr and Mrs Arvin Larsen entertained at a family dinner Friday evening in honor of her sister, Mrs Gene Mowry and family of /Chippewoa Falls, Wis., Titonka — Friday evening, Dec. 12, at 7:30 the wedding of Anna Grace Folkerts, daughter of Mr and Mrs Ehno Folkerts, and Don- vvho were here on a 4 day visit. Mrs Justine Becker and family and Mr and Mrs Alvin Becker and family attended a 10th wedding anniversary surprise party at the Arnold Kollasch home at Whittemorc Sunday evening. aid Tcgttneyer, son of Mr and Mrs Carl Tegtmeyer, Woden, was solemnized at the Ramsey Reformed church. Rev. Wm. Kroon was in charge of the double ring ceremony. Candle lighters and ushers were Ronald Folkerts. and Maurice Buns, friends of the groom. Organist was Mrs John Smidt, pianist was Myrna Risuis, who accompanied Nancy Buns, soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a floor length gown of lace and net, styled with fitted bodice with floated inset of net at neckline, cap sleeves, full bouffant skirt of lace with ruffled net forming deep flounces to hemline. She also wore matching mitts. Her fingertip veil was of nylon net illusion with a tiarra of seed pearls. She carried n bouquet of two dozen American Anna Folkerts Wed Recently Af Titonka beauty roses. Attending the bride were Mrs Paul Roskamp and Elaine Folkert. Brcnda Roskamp was flower girl. Attendents for the bridegroom were Arnold Gcrclis and Ervin Tcgtmoycr. After (lie wedding a reception was held in the church parlor. Mrs Henry Van Hove served as dining room hostess. The bride is a graduate of Ti- tonkn high school and is recep- tionist a! the office of Dr. John Lesiak and the bridegroom attended Woden high school and al present is working for the Buns Construction Co., at Britt.
