Mr and Mrs Ray Fitch went to Britt Wednesday to visit Mr and Mrs Leo Clark ana father, Charlos. Clark, who is now past 98 years old. Mr and Mrs Tracy Stone and Ricky of Fordyce, Arkansas, arrived last Wednesday and have moved in the farm home recently vacated by Mr and Mrs Herbert Nelson. Mr nnd Mrs Nelson are getting nicely settled in their new home in Lone Rock. Mr and Mrs George Hix were dinner guests in the Victor Fitch home Thursday. Mr and Mrs John K. Harms and Mr and Mrs Rudolph Peter, Shirley and Duane were Wednesday evening supper guests in the Johnny H. Harms home. Mr and Mrs Jesse Schmidt of Ruthven came Tuesday evening to visit at the Ray Fitch home. Mr Schmidt also visited his brother Verle Schmidt and family in Titonka. They plan to leave about the first of next week for San Antonio, Texas, where they will spend the winter. Mrs Robert Wood called at the Goodwyn Bergerud home Wednesday. Mr and Mrs Robert Wood and Jean were dinner and supper- guests in the Harold Von Bank home at West Bend Sunday. Mr and Mrs Robert Wood and Jean will be Christmas dinner guests in the Maurice Eischcn home of Algona and Christmas supper guests in the John Von Bank home at Bode. Mr and Mrs Victor Fitch. Koi"' ene and Judy, Mr and Mrs Dwight Ruse, Mr and Mrs George Hix and Mr and Mrs Timer Harms and family will be Christmas dinner and supper guests in the Arthur Hix home at Sexton. "Half of the people in this world are miserable because they can't have what makes the other half miserable". , Clyde Behrends Of Ringsted Is Wed Nav. 12 Ringsted — Mr and Mrs Al Guerdet of Armstrong are announcing the marriage of their daughter, Elizabeth Ruth, to Sgt. Clyde S. Behrends, son of Mr and Mrs Sebo Behrends of Ringsted. The marriage took place Nov. 12 at Kirkland, Wash. Mrs Ruth Jea*hne Lindsay vas matron of honor. Holland Hausman was best man. ' Mrs Behrends is a graduate of Armstrong high school and was employed at the Josten Company in Owatonna, Minn, prior to go-, ing to Washington this fall. Sgt. Behrends received his education in the Ringsted schools and is stationed with the army at Redmond, Wash. After a wedding trip to Vnn- oouver, Canada they are at homo at Kirkland, Wash. Joan Irmiter, Armstrong, q student at St. Anthony's School of Nursing at Carroll, mod<sle4 holiday dresses at a Christmas style show. She also wail a member of a quartet that sung Christ* mas carols.
