independent first run movie operations in Ham ilton shut down today after slightly more than nine months in operation Zemitis who also runs the Broad way Cinema attributed the dosing of the Hyland to poor audience re sponse and the lack of available first run films think I may have over esti mated the he admitted yesterday certainly wait into it under financed We had to regroup and cut our losses to keep the Broad way The problem of building up an audience for the Hyland which had the reputation of a movie house under its previous operator Gne plex Odeon was further hampered by the obstacles Zemitis faced trying to wrestle away quality first nm films from two major theatre chains Cineplex Odeon and amous Players was a pretty jading experi ence the hard reality of dealing with the big as a re sult of on the job accidents says a study co ordinated by the ederal Centre for AIDS No evidence of AIDS infection was found in any of the 120 nurses labo ratory technicians doctors and others who had accidents that exposed them to the blood or other body fluids of infected patients Many of the accidents were nee dlestick injuries that occurred when the people were drawing blood giv ing
