EL PASO HERALD-POST Saturday June 1 1974- EP Man Is Out Of KW Auto Parts Opens Seventh Store in EP Section Page Ten US Counselors Set for Meeting KW Auto Parts president Mel Levinson has anounced the opening of the seventh store at 9513 Viscount in the Woolco Shopping Center Grand opening festivities scheduled for today include over 81500 worth of gifts and prizes to be given away KW STARTED IN 1954 with one store in Van Horn Park shopping center That store was later moved to 5612 Dyer and the chain operation has been expanding at a fast pace ever since In 1969 the company was purchased by a local group headed biy Mel Levinson and by the end of that year the total number of KW stores had risen to 4 Two additional stores were opened between 1969 and 1973 under the direction of A Robert Ayers corporate vice pesident Ayers said it is purpose to have an outlet in every im Apache Bazaar Held At Church The Apache Bazaar will be held tomorrow beginning at noon on- the grounds of St Joseph Mission Mescalero NM There will be a barbecue beef dinner Indian dancers food and beverages skill games and a chance to win a squash blossom necklace Miss Perlita Rocha the current Miss Mescalero
