Kav Fllisnn pnM 2 Mm Killed In Shooloul At Kentucky Lake MURRAY, Ky. Two men, one of them wanted for murder, were killed Wednesday evening during a shootout at a boat dock on the Blood River section of Kentucky Lake. State police identified one of them as Jackie Boyd, 29, Calloway County, who was sought in the shooting death Sunday of another Calloway County man, Eddie Hargrove, 25. The other shootout victim was Luther Charles Hamblin, 53, Lucasville, Ohio, who was on vacation at the lake with his family, according to police. State Police Capt.

Marvin Monroe said the Hamblin family including Luther Hamblin, his wife and daughter and son, Samuel, an Ohio state trooper-were attempting to launch a boat "when Boyd came' out of the weeds and put a gun on them and demanded their car." "They gave him the car," Monroe said, "but the shooting started after Samuel Hamblin removed some items from the vehicle." In the ensuing gun battle, Monroe said, the two men were killed. Dennis Kaufman, a guide who was assisting the Ham-blins, was shot in the ankle and treated for the wound, Monroe said. A coroner's inquest into the case is scheduled Thursday. 6 Dodge Mines, Flee To West stamper, 22, 4713 Est ma chine operator. Ernest 21, 1703 Race Ellison.

Dominique, WASHINGTON Over a Republican protest that it was an attempt to embarrass President Nixon politically, the Senate Wednesday passed a bill giving the President, authority to impose wage, price and rent controls. The authority was contained in a House rider to a bill extending the Defense Production Act for two years. "This Is entirely said Sen. Wallace F. Bennett, (R-Utah).

"It is very interesting that the authority expires in six months or right after the November elections.
