disposition of the Lake estate is still engrossing public attention and the various theories advanced indicate that the legal complications will be in teresting to the legal fraternity if not to the heirs Should the Trustees of the Truckee Lodge appoint an Executor in accordance with the terms of the will ho would be compelled to file a bond of $100000 at least and defend the will at his own expense Should the will be set aside the present Mrs Lake would be entitled to letters of administration upon filing the necessary bond Should she not desire to act the Court" would then appoint an Administrator Very few men can give such a bond as will be required and probably none of those who can are anxious for the position for notwithstanding Lake was the rich est man in the county and it is suppos able there are millions in administration fees when the matter is calmly considered it has not yet been made apparent that the Administrator will receive such compensation as the labor and responsibility deserves The estate of course is subject to all suits now pending and likely to be brought Mrs Jane Lake the divorced wife will it is expected be declared by the Supreme Court to be entitled to one half of the property and the will being set aside the other half would be equally divided between the boy Charles Myron and Mrs Mary Lake The Sav ings Bank suits may be decided against the estate in which event there will not be quite as much left to distribute However all the heirs and other parties interested will receive what the law gives them and even at the worst will all be
