Willis, a fixture in the lobby of the County Courthouse where he sold newspapers for more than 40 years, died Saturday in the Vernon Convalescent Center. Mr.

Willis, 80, retired from his as a news vendor in 1958 after a career in newspaper selling that began in 1897 when he was a boy of seven. During his years at the courthouse. Mr. Willis knew and was known by the judges, lawyers and reporters who worked there. IN 1955, Mr.

Willis was by a newsman if he was planning to retire. "Retire?" he asked with some surprise. "I'm not going to rust out; I intend to wear Mr. Willis, a member of the St. John Masonic Lodge No.

3, is survived by his wife Mrs. Addie Willis; two stepchildren from his first marriage, and three stepchildren from his second marriage. Services will be at 1 p. m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church in Covington.

Burial will be in the Union Baptist Cemetery in Price Hill. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 m. Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home, 820 Lincoln Walnut Hills. Joseph H. Woeber Joseph H.

Woeber, 73, 810 Matson Place, Price Hill, died Sunday at Jewish Hospital. He was founder and chairman of the board of the Reading Central Mix Concrete a member of Knights of Columbus and a veteran of World War I. Survivors are his wife, Marie; son, Clyde Cincinnati; daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Uhlenbrock, Cincinnati; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Schroer, Mrs.

Marie Fricker, Mrs. Martha Nader and Mrs. Florence Schwemberger, all of Cincinnati; one brother. Ames, Cincinnati; and grandchildren, Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 a. m.

Wednesday at Holy Family Church, Price Hill, with burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Montgomery. Visitation will be 4-9 p. m. today at Busse Borgmann Funeral Home, 3464 Central Pkwy. William R.

Fritz Services will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday for William R. Fritz. 49, of Johnson City, formerly of College Hill, in the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery, Greenville, Tenn.

Mr. Fritz died Thursday in Johnson City. He was a former employe of the Cincinnati News a member of the North College Hill United Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and served in the armed forces in World War II. He is survived by three brothers, Theodore, Louis and Bertram. Arrangements are by Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

M. Boex, died Sunday at Madeira Nursing Center after a long illness. She was a member of St. Monica Sodality, St. Mary Church, past president of Glenmary Home Missioners Guild, a member of the Xavier University Alumnae Association and Our Lady of Mercy Hospital Guild.

She is survived by two sisters, Miss Alvina A. Pellman and Mrs. Frances Frimming; four brothers, Ferdinand, Henry and Raymond Pellman, all of Cincinnati, and Joseph Pellman of Goral Gables, Fla. Visitation from 8 to 9:30 a. m.

Wednesday in John J. Gilligan Son Funeral Home, 2926 Woodburn. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Price Hill. Mrs.

Mamie Harvey Mrs. Mamie Harvey, 56, 923 Van Buren Lincoln Heights, died Monday in the Bethesda Hospital. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Buford; two sons, Buford Jr.

and James; three daughters, Mrs. Ida Polk, Mrs. Marlene Grant and Mrs. Pauline Williams; a brother, Grady Collins; three sisters, Mrs. Everlena Cox; Mrs.

Lucile Robinson and Miss Corine Collins; 24 grandchildren, and one greatgrandchild. Services will be at 1 p. m. Thursday at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with the Rev.

J. W. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Oakhill Oemetery, Glendale. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.

Baer Bernard Edward Baer, 77, Kansas City, 1 a graduate of the College of Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, died September 14 in Kansas City, He was a member of the 112 Engineers Corps in Europe during World War I and for more than 40 years worked for the Baer Engnieering and Constructing Co.

of Leavenworth, Kan. and Kansas City, Mo. He is survived by his wife, Louise, Kansas City, and a brother, S. C. Baer, Cincinnati.
