Junior A. !?avik ( son of Mr and Mrs Albert Pavik was awarded the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. The presentation was made by Col. Orin H. Ftigley. Jr., professor of air science, Air Force ROTC, at Pennsylvania State University May 19. Lt. Pavik received the award as a member of the 33rd Air Base Rescue Squadron. See Alaska Pictures Swea Homemakcrs met at the home of Mrs Emil Larson with Mrs Christine Swanson assisting. Mr and Mrs Cutchell of Dunnell, Minn, were present to show pictures of trips they had made to Alaska. The group made plans for a tour to be made later to the home for the aged at Algona. The ladies brought magazines which will be given to the residents of the home Peter C. Reding Feature Subject In News Story A former Kossuth county resident, Peter C. Reding who left Ottosen 46 years ago wherii he was an assistant bank clerk, to join the staff of the People's State Bank of Monterey, Minn., was the subject of a special feature article in the Trimont, Minn. Progress, recently. He has been a resident of the Trimont area for' the past 46 years, and is now senior member of the insurance firm of Reding & Frahm, insurance and real estate, at Trimont. He left Ottosen in 1914, after completing courses at the Capital City Commercial College in Def Moines and work in the Ottoser bank. The Monterey bank went out of business in 1928 and he then established his insurance and real estate business. He is related to the Reding: of Kossuth county, and has been a visitor in the area quite often Trimont is in Martin county Minn, northwest of Fairmont. Gordon L.
