They also demanded punishment for police officials responsible for the beating of scores of professors and students. No violence was reported. Students merely stayed away from the a 1 ly-pollced colleges. All demonstrations had been forbidden by the government of Gen. Juan Carlos Ongania, and his appointed university authorities had promised that any arrested student would lose the school year.

However, a large public demonstration occurred Wednesday morning when the funeral of the 48-year-old wife of former President Arturo U. Ulla turned into a massive, but silent, tribute to the last elected Argentine leader. Dr. Illia was deposed last June 28 in a bloodless coup by the military. 4 Evanston Lmh Held As Delinquent Four Evanston youths, aged 10 to 14, Wednesday were charged with Juvenile deliquency after making a shambles of an Avondale man's home on Labor Day.

Police said the boys entered the home of Ben Allen, 38, 3718 Alaska Ct, through an unlocked window. They then tore the telephone off the kitchen wall, broke bottles and scattered debris over the floor. In addition, police said they poured a mixture of powdered milk and rolled oats on the living room, dining room and kitchen floors, ripped a telephone off the wall on the second floor and poured powdered milk on the stairs.
