Sentral Seniors Tell Plans The following is a brief sum' mary of the^ activities o'f graduating seniors of Sentral high school. Also listed, are their plans for the coming year. Of the 48 graduating, 25 plan to attend a college, or a trade school. Six plan to enlist in a branch of the service, twelve are going to work and five have no definite plans at the present time. Kaihryn Alt — Active in vocal music groups and has been selected as the Sentral Band Queen at Mason City this year. She has served as Cheerleader during her Junior and Senior years. Kathryn will be employed as of•' fice worker at the Weisbrod Implement. .-'•:'/, Virginia Baker — Active in Band-' and has participated in, •basketball and softball. Took part in the Junior class play. Plans to work. Darrel Berkland — Participated in 1 'football th,is past year, and also served as baseball manager during his sophomore year. He plans to enlist in the Army. ' Craig Blanchard — Craig has been active irt baseball, basketball, football, band and vocal music. He has held class offices. Craig, will attend college. Frank Cannon —• Frank has been active, in baseball, basketball and football. He took part in the class plays and helped on the Beep staff. He plans to join the U.S. Air Force. v Sharon Collins — Sharon has been active in basketball and softball and participated ,in Chorus during -her freshman year. She plans to attend St. Joseph Mercy School of Nursing at Mason City. , ' Donald Cherland— Donald has been active in vocal music groups, in band and has participated in baseball. He will attend Waldorf College. Mary England — Mary has been active in < basketball, softball and served as a twirler in the •band. She served on the Beep staff. Her plans for the future are undecided. . ' Nancy Fischer — Nancy has been active in both vocal and instrumental music- groups.. She has done solo work in both and has also served as accompanist. She served as Mason City Band Queen in 1959. She has held class office, served, on the annual staff and took'part in class plays. She" plans to attend the State University of Iowa. ' PaUl Geiizenauer — Paul has been active in -vocal music groups, the band,'.baseball, bas* ketball and has held class offices. He plans-to attend college.. Dennis W. Guerdei — Plans to farm. ^ ,_ Barbara Halverson — Barbara has participated in .Mixed Chorus and Girls Glee Club. She served •as basketball manager during her senior year. She plans to attend Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis. Merle Halverson — Merle has been active in vocal music groups, band, basketball, football and 'baseball. He took part m the Junior class play. He plans- to attend Trade School. Carol Hanisch — Carol has been active in vocal music, groups, the band, basketball., softball. -She served as the .Beep editor, a cheerleader, took part in speech contest and participated in class plays. Carol will study Journalism at Drake University. , Faye Hanielman — Faye has participated in Chorus and basketball and has- served as a band twirler. Her plans are undecided. Susan Hanielman — Susan has been active in both vocal and instrumental music groups. She has done both vocal and instrumental solo work. She has served as Librarian, on the Beep staff, and took part in the Junior Class play. She will attend Abbott Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis. • George Haiiie — Plans to farm, James Henriksen — Plans to farm. Larry Householder — pated in basketball, -,. Chorus and took part m the Junior and Senior class plays. Plans to attend trade school. Rebecca Household" - Becky was active in basketball and took part in the Junior Class play. He plans to join the Air Force. Kenneth Schmidt — Kenny has been active in baseball, footbal and basketball. He plans to work. She plans to attend Hamilton Business College Upp«f LuVerne Band Sets Schedule A series of band concerts has been slated at LuVerne this summer. The first concert will be presented Friday, May 27r AU concerts, which wil feature the LuVerne high school band, under the direction of Peter Farmakis, will be presented on main street, beginning at 8 p.m. Here is the complete schedule.
