T Former LuVerne Girl is Wed In California LuVetne — Irene Louise Weg- hcr, Manhatten Beach, Calif., became the bride of Hubert Henry Dufcl, Hermosa Beach, Cal., Apr. JO. Their parents arc Richard Wegner, LuVerne and the late Mrs 'Wegner and Mr and Mrs Wilbur C. Dufel of CIo- vis. Cal. The bride is a LuVerne high school graduate. The groom is a graduate of Fresno State College and is a high school leach- tr at North Torrancc high school. After a honeymoon, the couple will be at home at Man- halten Beach. Harold Gabel came from Denver, Colo, to spend the weekend with his parents, the Martin Gabels. EGG A soft-shelled, double egg connected by a short length of tubing of the same material was laid recently by a hen in the flock belonging to Mr and Mrs Arthur Harwood of near Menlo.
