Cincinnati Televisio, Friday, December 22 Brian Donlevy skippers a submarine as "The Pharmacist's Mate" performs an appendectomy with makeshift equipment. Gene Raymond also is an offiecr on the "Pulitzer Prize Playhouse" production over ABC-WCPO-TV at 9 p. m. Takes Title Role In Sleuth Series Kevin O'Morrison plays the title role in "Charlie Wild, Private Detective," when the new mystery series has its television debut today. The suave supersleuth will appear on alternate Fridays. Mr. Morrison is a seasoned actor, his career on the New York stage having begun in 1937 with Orson Welles. He appeared in such Wellesian productions as "Julius Caesar," "Shoemaker's Holiday" and "Danton's Death." During World War II Kevin had one of the leads in the U. S. Army Air Force's now famous "Winged Victory." Hollywood credits include the second lead in "Dear Ruth" and roles in "The Set-Up," "Never Fear" and "Golden Gloves Story." Fight fans have a ringside seat for the first title bout between Joe Louis and Max Schmeling, which took place in Yankee Stadium in New York City.
