announces that registration is open for the fall session of the "Tiny Tot Program." This is a recreation program that features crafts, music, stories and games for preschool children, ages four and five. It will be held at the Hormel Nature Center on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The program will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 21 and run through Thursday, Dec. 4.

4-H fund Fund raising for the Leonard Harkness 4-H Endowment Fund has started in Mower County. The goal is to raise $1,000 by Nov. 15. The endowment fund is being established to recognize the work of Leonard Harkness, who recently retired after working for 31 years with 4-H. A statewide goal of $50,000 has been set for the endowment.

The interest from the fund will be used to support 4-H programs. These would include volunteer leadership development programs and projects, 4-H participant recognition and incentive programs, and also in- raising novative program grants. Each club in Mower County is asked to contribute a dollar for each member to the fund. It is hoped that the remainder will be contributed by people in the county who have seen the benefits and worthiness of the 4-H program over the years, including former 4-H members, 4- parents and leaders. Travel films to begin Oct. 21 The Austin Community Service begins its 17th season of Travel-Adventure films Oct. 21 with Bill Butler's Film "Denmark. Season tickets for this year's seven films are now available. "Denmark" will feature the colorful cities and peacful farmland of this oldest kingdom in the world today from the Jutland Peninula to the Central Islands and Zealand.

Students who plan to take the 1980 test will receive a complete sample test for practice, along with an answer key and scoring instructions. When scores are reported in December, each student will receive a report of student answers, incuding the correct answers as well as answers the students gave. To allow students to refer to the original questions, schools will return the test booklets with the scores.

The PSAT-NMSQT is cosponsored by the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It is administered annually to more than million students and measures verbal and mathematical abilities important to college work. The Federal Communications Commission earlier this year told Blackhawk it would have to sell KAAL before the FCC would allow a merger of Blackhawk and the American Family Corporation.
