The victory sends the Middies to the district finals Saturday night at Cincinnati to meet undefeated Hamilton Taft. Colerain held the lead over the Middies at the first quarter, 18-13, and it was late in the second period before the Middies took a lead for the first time In the game. They ended the half in the lead, 32-31, and were on top, 50-42, at the end oi the third.

Glenn Barker topped the Middies scoring with 18, while Terry roof led the Cardinals with 18. By virtue of their win tonight, the Tigers will meet Middletown High School's Middies Saturday night at the University of Cincinnati fieldhouse.
