12 DEL RIO (TEXAS) NEWS-HERALD, Friday. May 31. 1974 ROTC Encampment at LAFB (Continued From Pagr 1) Trpspmor, ptofeHsor of aerospace studied at the University of Oklahoma. This group, composed of students with at least two years in the program, will receive four weeks of instruction, which although having no bearing on their college studies, will reflect on the posittion they hold with the units at their respective school. Colonel Tresemer said the program is geared to enlighten the cadets on Pilot Training Wing operations and give them looks at jobs available in the Air Force.

One highlight of their stay will be jet flights which will be provided for over 400 students, 250 of thesr from the Lackland Air Force Base encampments nt San Antonio. The cadets also will participate in social activities at the base and attend a dining-in in local officers' homes following survival training. A second group of 100 cadets, mostly new to the Horse and Car Meet On Road A car and a horse met accidently early this morning. He was an active fighter pilot during the Vietnam war until March 1968 when his aircraft was shot down. He is a native of Marshaltown, Iowa, and a 23-year Air Force veteran.
