Snow Showers Move In After Warm Readings The weather in this area during the past week included a little of everything - ranging from a high reading of 57 to a low of 14, from a trace of rain to more than a half-inch Saturday, winding up with snow showers Tuesday night and Wednesday. High mark for the week was registered Saturday and the low early Wednesday morning - with more cold readings slated. Hosts were Pastor and Mrs. A. F. Gerstmann and sons Stephen and Timothy. After a period of fellowship, lunch was served consisting of Christmas foods from a table decorated in accordance with the season to more than 100 guests. Assisting in the serving were Mesdames George Alke, Walter Baade, Edward Boyken, Douglas Mechler and Bob H. Spear; and high school girls, Marilyn Boekelman, Brenda Brandt, Sheryl Heesch, Thelma Miller, Kristin Rakow, Phyllis Sachau, Susan Roberts and Marvella, Rose and Virginia Stecker. - o - Mrs. Clara Marks died at the Britt Nursing home Dec. 2. The Loren Englund family have moved to the house on the Mrs. Viola Welhousenfarm. The Floyd Huisman family will move into their home where the Englund's have been living. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wubben have moved into the house they purchased in Titonka. They have lived in the house on the Alfred Oesterreicher farm for several years.
