Louis Hansen and family of the Doan vicinity went to Rockford, HI., to spend Thanksgiving and the weekend with his brother Lloyd and family. MR. AND MRS. Henry Furst were dinner guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. John Furst and Mrs. Anna Telkamp at Lakota. MR. AND MRS. Gene Furst, former Algonans now living at Britt, were at Dallas, Tex.-^of ten days where Gene transacted buiineii. . Henry Furst and the latter's sister, Mrs, Ethel Woolrldge, Mason City, spent lastMonday at Minneapolis, AFTER A visit of two months with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs, Leo Gardner, M. H. Sheldon has returned to his home at Sargeant, Nebr. REV. AND MRS. Everett Black came from Spencer Wednesday and took Mrs. Black's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Geering, with them to spend until Thanksgiving night when they brought them home. The daughter, Mary Ann Black, was home from Bethel College, St. Paul, Minn, for the weekend holiday. MR. AND MRS. Henry Scheppman were visited last week by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Handelvldt, Mrs. Henry Knuth, Mrs. Anna Uden, Jackson, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Henry Christoffers, Lakefield, Minn,, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Meyer, Lake Park. MR. AND MRS. Gene Hood and daughter, Mary Jean, who teaches at Blppmington^Minn., spent thwiksgiviiig'arDes''Moines~witt Mrs." ; Hood's sister, Mrs. Frances Bonder, MR. AND MRS, Andrew Reding were dinner guests Thursday of ' their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lutz at Marshalltown. MRS. HUGH CARROLL has returned home after a week spent at Belmond with her sister, Mrs. Oliver Carroll. She was taken there after a fall in which she suffered an ankle Injury and was unable to get around much. She Women's styles aren't the only things that change In appearance once In awhile. Otto Engstrom entertained Mr, and Mrs. Walter KLamp at dinner Thanksgiving. CONNIE CASSEL came from Clark College, Dubuque, and her sister Michele came from the college of St. Teresa at Wlnona, Minn, to spent their Thanksgiving holiday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.- J. Cassel. MR. AND MRS. Ed- Broesder. spent Thanksgiving Day at Ottosen with relatives.
