Algona (Id.) Upper Dei Moinei Tuesday, November 30, 1965 A FAMILY DINNER was held Thanksgiving at Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hanson's at Ames. In attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Hanson, Ames, Mrs. Edna Rlchter, Tltonka, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. John Goodman, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hanson and Pamela, Mrs. Harold Smith, Algona, and Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson, Britt, and the respective families. MRS. AMY JOHNSON had as Thanksgiving dinner guests her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Elman and Randy, Montgomery, Minn., and her son, Kenneth Wagner and children, Burt. MR. AND MRS. Jack Dutton had as dinner guests Thanksgiving the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Iverson, Crystal Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. John Dutton. MR. AND MRS. Lloyd Muckey went to Ankeny Friday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pickett and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dusek, Wichita, Kans. She is the former Judy Pickett. From there, the Muckeys will go to Winter set to spend Sunday with Mrs. Muckey's sister, Mrs. Ida Comp. MR. AND MRS. Ollie Nasby went to Tyler, Minn. Friday to have a post-Thanksgiving dinner with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Panko. MR. AND MRS. Henry Bunkofske had as weekend guests their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Bunkofske, Raymond and Laura, St. Paul, Minn. MR. AND MRS. Alvin Pederson and family spent Thanksgiving day at Humboldt with the parents, Mr. and Mrs. JensPed- erson. THANKSGIVING guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy McMahon were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Chapman and three sons of Eagle Grove and Mrs. K. D. James of the Good Samaritan Home. MR. AND MRS. Dale Brand and family, Clarion, and Mrs. Rose Scanlan were dinner guests Thursday of Mrs. Phil Kohlhaas. Mrs. Brand remained till Friday. MR. AND MRS. Gordon Kuhn were visited last week by their son Bob and family of Ankeny. MRS. PAT WELCH and Betty, Dubuque, visited Algona friends Thursday. Mr. Welch was also in the vicinity and the family visited Mrs. Welch's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harms, Titonka. Mrs. Welch, the former Lois Harms, was formerly a nurses aide at the Good Samaritan Home. MRS. FRANCES MOE is leaving Dec. 4 for Omaha, Neb. and after a brief visit with her daughter, Shirley, and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Munger, will go to Anderson, Calif, for a visit till Jan. 1 with her daughter Mary and husband Earl Ganyon. DINNER GUESTS Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Cink were Mr. and Mrs. Duane Nelson and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Nelson. MR. AND MRS. Don Ritchie and Bruce were at Marathon for Thanksgiving dinner with the latter's brother and sister-in- law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johanson. The Ritchies had as weekend guests Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cantrall, Peterson. MR. AND MRS. Glen Burtis and Ronald went to New Haven to spend Thanksgiving with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Davis. Ronald is home from San Diego, Calif, till Dec. 10 when he will report at Cherry Point, N. C. He is with the Marines.
